CollegeHumor.com crew visits WLTV

The kids from College Humor paid a visit to Gary Vaynerchuk’s Wine Library show back in January. We just found it, so forgive us for being a bit slow on the uptake. But we love Gary Vee. He’s a pretty amazing man and knows his stuff. Enjoy!
In this video, Gary and company talk about wine for beginners – for the non-connoisseur. Just our sort of thing! I love to watch the master at work, describing tastes and smells. Violet? Kiwi? Tannins? It’s all DELICIOUS.
(The video takes a while to load. To watch it on WLTV instead, go here.)
His great advice for the wine newbie:
“Don’t listen to me, don’t listen to Wine Spectator, don’t listen to the point guy Robert Parker: everybody has their own palate. Way too many people when they first get into wine are way too worried about what everybody else says…”
I’m a firm believer that you shouldn’t have to spend more than $15 on a bottle of wine. My favorite white, Nobilo’s sauvignon blanc, is only about $9, and don’t get me started on Trader Joe’s Two-Buck Chuck!
We’re super excited about the products tasted in this episode, especially the 87-point Bordeaux In a Box. We haven’t tried it yet, but the novelty is intriguing.
